Class II Type B2 are specifically designed to provide a high level of protection for both the operator and the environment from exposure to hazardous materials. They are commonly used in laboratories where work with infectious agents or toxic substances is conducted.
Inward airflow: Air is drawn into the cabinet through a perforated front panel and is then exhausted through a ULPA filter.
Outward airflow: A portion of the filtered air is exhausted directly to the outside, preventing the release of contaminants into the laboratory.
Negative pressure: The cabinet operates under negative pressure, ensuring that any leaks or spills are contained within the unit.
